Install new version of Remote client on EHR team laptops
These instructions are for installing the new version so that the EHR team can access POC and TST remote client after those environments get upgraded. This is not the process to install the new version for End users. For End users it would be software center.
The UW Move it Job moves the install files to this location:
\\msnarchive1\itstore\SmartUpdate\Supack\HomeHealth
Copy the Windows Installer file for the new version and save it here. Make a new folder for the new version & copy the folders with the client packs over
\\msnarchive1\itstore\SmartUpdate\Supack
To install the new version on a laptop for someone on the EHR team
You must copy the install folder from the network, and save it to your C Drive on your laptop.
Double click the Windows Installer file and go through the prompts to install (Use your Admin account to install and approve this on DUO).
IE on this screen click the "Next" button.
To install the client pack
On your C Drive, double click InstallMSP Application
Put in your admin account (IE jmadmin) and approve the DUO request on your Agrace phone.
Install client pack
Next button
Path to new client pack, click *** and point to the folder of the new CP Number
Validate button
Next, Run now
Copy over the new version of the DBUpdate file:

and save it here:
